About Sani Auri, LLC

Founded in 2011 by Carmen Veal Conway, Sani Auri, LLC is a testament to the power of community, education, and empowerment. As a parent company, we oversee a portfolio of brands dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Black women.

At the heart of Sani Auri is Brown Skin Women, our flagship brand, which was established with a clear mission: to empower women of color through tight curl education and wellness. With a holistic approach to beauty, we intertwine haircare with wellness experiences deeply rooted in cultural values. This fusion is not just a business strategy; it’s a way to strengthen our community’s core and transform lives.

Our Journey:

Brown Skin Women Blog and Real-Life Events (Launched in 2014): Our journey began in 2014 with the launch of the Brown Skin Women blog and real-life events. These events were focused on building a community that explored natural hair, beauty, and wellness resources. It was a pivotal moment that laid the foundation for our commitment to empowerment.

Home Hair Care Academy (Launched in 2019): In 2019, we took a significant step forward with the launch of the Home Hair Care Academy. This platform was designed to equip individuals and professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to care for naturally tight curly hair.

Tight Curl Pro (Launched in 2021): Building on our commitment to education, we introduced Tight Curl Pro in 2021. This brand is tailored specifically for beauty professionals, offering them the tools and expertise to excel in serving clients with naturally tight curly hair.

Hair Education Studio (Launched in 2022):
In 2022, we expanded our commitment to education further with the launch of our Hair Education Studio. This studio offers hands-on hair education and maintenance sessions, providing individuals with practical, in-person experiences to master the art of hair care.

Brown Skin Women Foundation (Launched in 2022): In 2022, we established the Brown Skin Women Foundation, the philanthropic arm of our organization. This nonprofit initiative is committed to advancing economic progress and racial equity for Black women and the communities they are a part of. Through development, education, and resources, we strive to empower Black women to improve their quality of life.

Our journey continues to evolve, guided by our core values of community, education, and empowerment. As we move forward, our commitment remains unwavering: to celebrate the beauty, diversity, and strength of Black women while creating opportunities for growth, inclusivity, and positive change.
